With the end of summer somewhere in sight, and just ahead of their album release, Hot Natured’s collective of Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Luca C and Ali Love have, as the saying goes, turned up the heat on this one. Sitting on top of a sassy, tastefully funky bassline this breezy groove features distinctive spoken vocals from Love and The Egyptian Lover. Accessible for sure, perhaps too much for some, however the release is complimented by a great remix from Lee Curtiss who retains the funky, dreamy qualities while injecting some welcome edge into the arrangement. The version by French Fries dispenses with the melody altogether supplying a hard-hitting kick drum and up moody instrumentation, while also providing another welcome alternative.
