Shaqdi’s sweet yet reedy, quirky yet poppy vocal permeates the arrangement like scented smoke and provides the drifting, shifting counterbalance to Indian Summer’s billowing, trippy soundscapes. Add some fierce and fabulous remixes from The Quays (helium squeaks a go-go), VIP’s stomping, trickling trip hop, Plastic Plates’ uptempo house. My favourites ? Ape Drums’ winding and grinding Moombathon meets dubstep snake charmer and Worthy’s rippling and muscular arpeggiated treat. A prize.
