This time round Tom Stephan has teamed up with Toru S. One of Japanâs top DJ/Producer’s, & together they are J5 Eaters. ‘Frenzy’ comes in two absolutely corking mixes. Tom Stephan is up first with his ‘SuperChumbo Premium Mix’, building percussive layers around the kick & gradually working in a vocal snatch from back in the day, Tom keeps teasing, then just when you thought youâd gone back to the beginning again, in comes the break like an out of control suicide bomber & it’s adrenalin rush mayhem all the way. Tom Stephan has definitely got a bit of a Danny Tenaglia thang going on here. Over on the flip we get the ‘Toru S. Premium Cucumber Mix’, which plays around with the vocal a lot more, working it into, yes you guessed it, a ‘Frenzy’, while stretched acid riffs gradually mutate. Both mixes rip the place apart.
