Holland‚s Jark Prongo has come up with a very funky three tracker here.
Opening with the title cut ‘The Mirror’, which takes us into futuristic Lipps Inc territory, before swelling with keys and guitars riffs, leading to the indie chant ‘I looked into the mirror ‘What did I see’. Meanwhile ‘Tear This Damn Place Up’ does what it says on the tin, bringing on brass stabs, badass title shout outs and spun out delays, joyriding on motoring rhythms.
Last but by no means least, ‘Problems’ whips the dance floor into a frenzy with it‚s tasteful rave sequences and spaced out effects. Everyone‚s a winner.
