All hail the new Tejada 12 on Poker Flat. After the cross the board rinsing of ‘Sweat on The Walls’ ‘Big City Music’ sees our man delivering two underground missives in the distinct style of his awesome Palette work. A side BCM builds a hypno electro groove from syn toms, a sparse and spiky lead and minimal beats. In trademark style, the riff is layered with fat synth sounds and filtered from lo to hi with plenty of dynamic resonance. Following the super charged formula used to killer effect on tracks like ‘Chorgs’ on Palette, ammo seekers look no further. ‘Asanebo’ takes a more abstract route spewing forth delicate arpeggios, grimy bass growls and superb bursts of Detroit melody. Outstanding as ever.
