The first of three singles for the label kicks off just as you’d expect from a man of Jon Cutler’s standing, deep and soulful. That’s not to say that this couldn’t tear up the dancefloor because the beats are tough and the groove is full of attitude. In other words this has it all. Copyright’s have made their jazzy/funk sound all their own and it’s that sensibility which is applied to the song with winning results.
