Not to give too much of the game away but opening track, ‘Trippin’ well, you can probably guess what it’s about. Musically it celebrates a combination of 90’s styled beats and Organ that eventually provide relief via a chord progression, appearing amidst Jovonn’s spoken testimony which echoes across the grooves. The Body n Deep Dub then proceeds to strip out the male vocal to highlight the tantalising instrumentation and accompanying female vocal. Second track, The March then sets off fiery snares and racing beats against a wobbly, syncopated bassline plus acidic synths that in ways works even better.
