Now those generous executives at XL have supplied us with two rave rewirings of ‘Busy Earnin’ and ‘The Heat’ just to add another couple of hundred pounds of pressure to the package. Special Requests dislocates every limb and rearranges every organ you have with an explosive, breaks driven, offbeat on the beat, uptempo roaring rave monster. It’s completely deconstructed but if you look sideways on you’ll totally get the whole picture. Zomby go easy on your sweat patches with a deeper, vocal driven excursion. Its fascinating rhythm and keyboard stabs would make a marble statue get jiggy with it. Double top.
