Kai is one of the hot new names on the current New York house scene and is releasing ‘Believe’ in its original form and these two remixes on both Azulis Silver and Black on the same day. I’ve only heard these treatments by New England DJ Kered and they are guaranteed to throw several cats among the dancefloor pigeons. The Kered & Kiraly Electroclub Mix is a throbbing pulser riding a one-note bass over which are splattered shifting efx and funked-up riffs. The Punk FM Mix is sparser, stripped to its jockeys and blessed with distant techno stabs. Then in comes the electro-clash bassline and Proper Song with hooks, vocal and guitar licks.
