Great release from Leftwing & Kody’s Lost Records with Kevin Knapp’s commanding vocal lines on the title track proving irresistible across the sizzling basslines and funky electronics. What’s not to like! The remix comes from Toucan who adds rolling grooves to the voice. Next is ‘The Hip’ which again plays the spoken expressions intently over expanding rhythms to keep you guessing just what the hell is happening. Dale Howard then supplies the rework with his trademark drums working the irrepressible Acid fuelled grooves against heavy stabs to finalise the EP.
