If you like relentless and unforgiving techno / tech house than Kevin Over is your man. ‘Delta Disorder’ is a gruff and growling, hard stepper that pounds your senses like a porn star on overtime. ‘Boxer’ is an uppercut, body blow, on the ropes affair that sweetens the beating with some sweet synth washes, high pitched, looped bells and death knell pads. ‘Mash’ is a ‘take me to your leader’ truth serum that goes for the tech funk jugular with its monster synth-stab and 303 acid groove that is freaky, weird and hypnotic. The Ninetoes remix of ‘Hood Funk’ is a subdued, percussion driven, techno tickler whilst Austria’s pride, Christian Nielsen, reworks Jodye into a lock and looped, disco-tinged roller rink chugger with an fxed vocal loop that hits me right in the sweet spot. Join the train and be careful that you don’t fly off into the barriers at the end.
