It’s funny how in retrospect some tracks become bearable with time. In 1988, you could not escape Kraze’s ‘The Party’ and its bellowing vocalist (‘Hey DJ! Gimme a fat beat!’). Almost twenty years on, Munich’s renowned duo Milk & Sugar have reworked it well for today’s dancefloors and it feels like meeting again an old friend. Still Verona’s Love City score best for going fully back in time by incorporating to the equation big chunks of Royal House/Todd Terry’s anthem ‘Can You Party’.
