Leela’s soulful vocals truly hit the spot with this deeply satisfying affair and as its been mixed by none other than Shelter maestro Timmy Regisford it simply reaches the parts that we all strive for. Driven by a Detroit-styled keyboard riff and rousing strings ‘My Joy’ sets itself apart not only by the quality production but also by carving out its own individual soundscape. Call it captivating and/or mesmerising but never the less this just feels that little bit special.
