Revisiting the music from last summer’s release is a mighty fine idea especially when the results are just like these. Beginning with Soul Clap’s superlative remix, which redefines the concept into a fully formed gem, the song is now backed up by tougher beats and occasional Jazzy/ Latin sensibilities that lend the vocal so much more weight. Luke Solomon’s version aims straight for the dancefloor with fiery percussion giving the heavy-duty bassline added impetuous, equally excellent is David Marston & Dan Izco’s remix which breaks it all down into a more somber heaven complete with guitar licks, cool Trumpet and commanding piano. Second track from the original release,’ Love So Fleeting’ then has Nick Monaco and Night Plane both deliver first rate versions with the former stripping it back to bare essentials and the latter adding crunchy drums to the dubbed out vocals.
