The latest release on the label continues the theme of deep, down and sometimes dirty music that not only sounds refreshingly contemporary but thoroughly compulsive. Opening with the title track, ‘More Lettuce’ builds upon probing bass and insistent drums with occasional drops and sound fx added into the mix across almost eight minutes. Next the excellent ‘Tegel’ gets deeper with warmer keys and a creative array of playful sounds and events, while ‘Thaiman’ injects funkier vibes into its undulating rhythm section. Leaving the head-nodding grooves of ‘Dope Erwt’ to finish with further addictive drums pumped out alongside strange atmosphere’s dancing across the background.
