One of our most reliable house labels uncorked this scrotal kneesup before Christmas but for some reason it was nestling in the underpants drawer, spreading its message of percussive whoopee, lowslung bass action and vocal interjections. Martijn hails from the North-East but the label’s based in Leeds, co-run by the currently on-a-roll Paul Hardy, who turns in a scintillating remix to start things off. The second track sees Martijn hook up with Chris Luke for the deep and haunting ‘Perazzo’, remixed by the pair separately and also Newcastle’s Tom Davis. No shit here, Sherlock.
