Mother Recordings is motoring along nicely now, and for their next trick they enlist Martin Waslewski for two firing club tracks that are sure to get any party started. Martin Waslewski has put out his music on labels like Hommage and Monaberry and this will be his second outing with Mother. Gerd is up first and makes great use of a well known soul hit by Nina Simone. With loose drums and jumbled strings, it is a really summer tune that makes you feel nice and warm inside. Never Leave You is then a more modern house track with lazy, deep drums pulling you into a nice groove. Some sexual female diva vocals add a real element of love and lushness as strident synths lift the whole track up. This is perfectly happy, feel good house music to get you moving your behind and is another winner from Mother and Martin.
