Matteo Spedicati – Never Let Us Go – (Alfa Romero Recordings)

Next up on the Alfa Romero label is Italian producer Matteo Spedicati, who serves up a delicious new single that is sultry and deep and perfect for late summer nights. The track comes with a remix from Ben Hoo and is another fine release from the ever more impressive Alfa Romero outlet.

Never Let Us Go is a patient and slow building track with spine tingling melodies up its backbone. Nebulous voices also bleed into the mix, as do twinkly melodies, and it’s a real height of your set gem that will stand right out. For his part, London raised but Ibiza based Ben Hoo flips the thing into a much deeper, smoother and more tasteful bit of deep house with gently tumbling drums and sombre chords. Overall then an effective package.
