Matty’s superlative production skills have graced many great releases over the years and this one has to be one of his best to date. It comes vocal free and purely relies on the music’s strength to do the talking, which it manages continuously via its prominent analogue bass, emotive strings and haunting piano on the ‘NY Sub Mix’. More of the same can be heard on the ‘NY Sax Mix’ which not surprisingly has Groove Collective’s Jay Rodriguez blaze his signature Sax all over it to impressive effect. But then as there are a total of five versions to choose from you’re not exactly stuck for choice.
