As it stands ‘Heartbreaker’ sounds breezily popish with some rather fine and awkward guitars enhanced by an enticing melancholy vocal from Joseph Mount. So far so good, but move to the blistering Kris Menace versions or better still Faze Action’s ultra-funky Disco take and things are sounding even more impressive. Then there’s Diskjokke who trip out on Dub and Genuine Guy who twists electronics in a suitably nasty direction. Nice.
