The third EP for Brendon Moeller on the Third Ear imprint, here supplying four tracks of varied intensity. “Traffic (new wipers mix)” is much heavier than what you would associate with Moeller, a driving, swooshing, pulsing tech-cut that sweeps in and out of the speaker spectrum to awesome effect, just designed to punish those large sound systems. “Slight Transition” offers a break, holding a simple drum pattern in place for six or seven minutes, very simple yet very effective. “”Fixer” is the climax – melodic techno heavy on the synth stabs and drums. Watch it all go off once the moog solo kicks in! Finally, the title cut, “Safari”, closes the EP with a dubbed exploration in bass and beats, waves of fx drifting in from time to time. Seriously good value tackle for your money.
