Michel is one of the giants of the world’s party circuit and his infectious enthusiasm always shines through his gloriously-uplifting tackle. So much so that ‘Snert’ became a monstrous roof-raiser this summer. Now it’s been reactivated with a pair of top mixes. Paul Kalkbrenner – of Bpitch Control and recent wonderful mix album fame – kicks off a contagious rumbler with one of those spleen-hoisting basslines, and-grabbing riffage and brain-arresting pads. Deep but wide as an elephants bottom. France’s Djinxx burrows down even further with a radioactive bell-end while shadowy sonic motifs waft in the ether. Great stuff.
