If you can get – or more easily mix your way – past the 46 seconds of half-hearted tinny guitar loop, descant recorder and whomping bass with nothing much else to do, then you’ll find Pep N Rash have cleverly rewired the Stephen Stills 70’s folk classic ‘Love The One You’re With’. It’s all packaged in a bright and breezy nu-house style and with fearless and blatant disregard for the profundity of the original. No matter – it’s shiny and new and squeaky and clean and is probably not for the under forties anyway. It’ll stream like Spotify and Shazam are eating raw yellow onions and daytime radio will love it.
