PJ DAVY
HENRY’S TUNE
TWISTED FREQUENCY

Twisted indeed. This is dark house music of the highest order, easily swiping the Sub Bass Of The Month award with its bowel-evacuating lower frequency roar. The sonic marauder responsible for this label’s second release hails from Portsmouth and is also responsible for ‘Bollyfella’ on Renaissance. Obviously a talent to watch as this tune ploughs the depths of nastiness via its acidic riffs, whale farts, that all-consuming bass and even a spot of hoovering! The flip’s remix sees label honcho James Harcourt hooking up with Swiss producer Dan Welton to take a clipping of the bass on which to build a relentless dirty cruiser which steadily burns a huge hole in the floor.
