Musically New Yorker Concetta Kirschner, aka Princess Superstar, is a cross between Neneh Cherry and Missy Elliott with a touch of Peaches thrown in to add the spice. The fishnet clad dominatrix-like dry witted one also drawing elements from producers like Arthur Baker, Felix Da Housecat and Jacques Lu Cont. The latter responsible for this tasty morsel that undergoes the remixer’s scalpel to transform it into an energised catwalk strutting offering from Jr Sanchez and an electro tour da force by Tommie Sunshine. One more the our fairytale Princess has created an unconventional slice of 21st century electro-pop blending genres that often straddling the thin line that separates the mainstream from the underground.
