Real Nois & Manu Gonzalez – Nite Rider (Real Nois)

There are a million and one new labels started every week of the year in dance music circles, many do not get passed the first few releases and many shouldn’t exist at all because they just aren’t up to scratch. But Real Nois, at just three releases strong, already bucks that trend. Reza Kharaghan, Chris Franck (Da Lata & Smoke City) and Toni Economides are the in-house production team named after the label and the first few releases have been special indeed. This new one is no different and it comes from Manu Gonzalez with Real Nois. Manu is a fine DJ and was resident at Sankeys Ibiza this summer so really knows his onions. Nite Rider is the new cut here and is a loose, lively deep house track. What really stands it out though is its lush and organic instrumentation – guitars, percussion and golden synths all add to the funkiness of the thing and will really get floors moving. A version without the vocal also is included for more heady moments, but a remix from Real Nois with vocals is sure to be the big one here. It re-fashions the original into a deeper, more romantic and woozy cut and adds some steamy female coos and cool spoken words. This is proper house that is sure to win the label and artists many new fans.
