Just ahead of their next album Rework highlight three different aspects of the trio’s personality. The title track, ‘Rise and Fall’ kicks off with blistering, up-tempo beats coupled with punctuating synths and vocal stabs leaving you breathless over the exercise of six energised minutes. ‘Ask You’ feels more thoughtful, though not much less invigorating, with its shimmering synths lines and deadpan vocals striking just the right note. Finally, ‘I’m Waiting’ trips out with menacing electronics and demanding vocals only adding to the unrelenting mechanics of the arrangement.
