Possibly a biggie for Rhythm Code with this fully vocal led house cut, that combines progressive house drums with a leaning towards a funky house bass and a “Sia” style vocal. Could be a winner, or could be sitting too much between two camps. For us it’s a little too musical. However, flip quickly over for a seriously twisted house moment. Rene Amesz’s remix is well outside progressive box and into continental territory, chocka full of interesting rhythms and twitchy edgy funk. Wicked bottle noises ride over the top of a seriously deranged use of the vocal. It’s based around a simple enough one bar bass riff, but a heavy, heavyweight amount of weird delays and cool edits bring the track to life in a really fresh fashion. Seek this one out.
