Simply Vinyl continue to remix the classics having previously reissued them in their original form with this strong remake of the house music anthem from Chicago’s dance innovator. The Soul Avengerz mix starts out with the famous acapella intro, before being hijacked by a rolling piano rhythm that lifts the spirit in keeping with the optimistic lyric that 20 years on is still as powerful. Love To Infinity up the tempo and flip the script with a more retro mid-90s vibe with synths and piercing strings the more dominant force, which whilst nice, offers little new and pales in comparison to the Soul Avengerz’s superior version.
