Romanthony released a series of essential records in the first half of the nineties of which this was certainly one. Glasgow Underground have now revisited this gem with a selection of reinvigorated remixes that feature that distinctly soulful vocal all over again. Gerd starts off with a typically classic House bassline accompanied by punchy Organ and swinging percussion that truly does the rousing chorus justice. While Oliver $ gives it all a peak-time tribal twist, leaving Gavin Herlihy & Laura Jones to combine forces to produce a darker, contemporary edge that sounds like some of their finest work to date. The labels own Kevin McKay then adds a funky bounce to the rhythm and a warmer sense of melody which plays like the perfect compliment, as Mia Dora finishes off with fiery 909 drums plus rave-era stabs that feel notably fresh now.
