Bypass the quasi rock stylings of the first two mixes, try to ignore the fact that it’s all just a lame marketing ploy for a MOR rock band and head straight for the Hook & Sling dub. It’s just the kind of house music we like, full of jacking energy, punchy rhythms, a sharp bassline and plenty of effects and attention to detail to prick the ears and mash your brains. It’s also got a fat rock edge to the drums, sitting somewhere between breaks and house to create a dynamic push to the track that we are really feeling. A Jon Gurd styled bassline creates the backbone of the track and casts more than a passing nod to the Mylo mix of Freeform Five. Add a super twisted series of mini builds and breaks that simply rock and you have one clever, inventive club tune that we’re sure your gonna love.
