And when the most successful DJ of all time speaks, we sit up and listen. The archetypal electro anthem from 1983, and Brenda Shannon Greene’s epochal record was also a top 15 pop crossover in the UK too. Now given a tougher tempo and mix package to suit today’s dance floors, Perfecto have compiled selection of new interpretations spearheaded by Chris Cox & Trent Cantrelle’s driving electronica version, with Joey Modus and Peter Presta not too far behind of the 10 mix pecking order. Surprising Oakey electing not to twiddle the knobs on the mix himself. A timely issue for a true dance classic. Oh, and as a footnote: Full Intention’s 2001 remix would’ve been a great addition.
