Am happy to see that one of the stand out tracks I pegged from the Jack U album when I reviewed it way back when has made single status (in fact both have and the first was a massive hit. Just saying.) Anyway here is the sublime ‘To You’ – a bold and bouncy space hopper with the caramel smooth vocal seduction of AlunaGeorge on top. Ramping it up with a piano house intro, Armand Van Helden turns it into a ravey train – with his quirky jacking Hype mix and piano heavy Deep remix. Clean Bandit up the tempo and roll it out on a buzzing, elastic-y bassline. The ‘Oliver’ remix is a low slung, snipped and clipped, electro funk rewiring for the underground parties and the ‘George’ remix closes the package with an atmospheric, unusual – bit trap, bit dubstep, bit I don’t know how to classify this but it’s cheeky and cool vibe. Is destined to hit high and probably out of the park again for Skrillex and Diplo so enjoy the ride of this Jack U gift from them to you.
