It’s easy to forget that for a long time Farley & Heller were near unbeatable. The London duo’s hypnotic version of the classic US house sound set a standard that was to inspire legions the world over (from their remixes for DSK, Sunscreem, Degrees Of Motion to their own Fire Island productions and huge ‘Ultra Flava’ hit). Willing to try something different (and go with the electro flow) the pair gets together again for ‘Upstairs’, a convincing slice of robodisco topped up by one Mario’s spoken/sung vox (two mixes and acappellas).
