An excellent choice for the label’s first rummage in the crates pairs the almost impossible to find Daft Punk remix from 1998 of ‘Mothership Re-Connection’, with the label’s most consistent act, Slam. The former sees Scott Grooves take chunks from Parliament-Funkadelic and in the hands of the Gallic funksters they certainly do it proud. The latter was the original flip (and thus overlooked and overshadowed) by ‘Positive Education’ way back in ‘93. Treat your self to a piece of Soma, and club land’s, history.
