The stoned vocal lines may give this production an uneasy edge but the invigorating funkiness of the bass alongside crisp, punchy drums and fizzy synths only go to make this hard to resist. However, it’s hard to deny that with all those spoken drug references going on this could very easily grab a lot of attention as the summer hots up too. Lee Curtiss then delivers a high energy infused remix that perks everything up with syncopated synthesisers and big-time arrangement of fiery sounds, leaving the Freaks version to get twisted with an uncompromising treatment of rhythm.
