I love this release. From the first ticklish beats and prairie oyster egg yolk bassline drop you know this is going to be a devilishly twisted box of tricks. Hornets nest buzz, key pads are transformed and then … fuck me. Bassline. Someone switches off the National Grid and the world is in disco dark tech darkness. Add a whispered vocal and it’s almost too much for me to bear. I said almost. ‘Closer’ attacks with a distorted synth bass, psychotic scraping strings, soaring effects and an ‘It is getting closer now’ vocal drop that will give you whiplash when you jump for joy. And to close? ‘Routing Madness’ is a bassline-led missile of Trident proportions. The whole EP will loosen the tightest sphincter when played through a big system so you’d be a fool (or simply masochistic) to pass up enjoying such high voltage, aural pleasures. A total winner.
