We get underway thanks to the title track in original form. A smooth-as-you-like take on soulful and intricate house music, it gets us off to a real flyer thanks to its many unpredictable mannerisms and it exudes class throughout. Namito – himself a more-than prolific producer, ups the ante considerably on his remix, as he adds a layer of simmering and ominous piano chords to the mix. They help to give it an otherworldly sense, and this one will keep you on your toes throughout.
Si Tew’s remix is a sprightly little number that roams about with its lo-fi sounds wreaking havoc, whereas Kosmas brings it to heavier, more techno-inclined territory. Concluding the package is MEK’s stunning effort, which brings us to a close amongst a cacophony of dramatic flourishes. An eclectic EP that’s made all the better for its many diverse mannerisms.
