Sir Piers & Toni Economides join forces under the Tarantulaz handle, heating up a classically tuned R&B number for some serious action. Their own mix is a solidly thumping garage number with a tech-fuelled undercurrent, perfectly suited for big speakers and small, intimate dancefloors. That said, the song does feel a little uncomfortable with a house-styled tempo, and the remixes don’t necessarily improve upon it. That said, Scott Wozniak’s terrific chord driven groove is a killer, one of those tracks that you immediately want to have a dub or instrumental version of to play around with. Still, some extended instrumental passages help to build up the tension and give the song room to breathe. Jojoflores & Joe DiPadova also offer their Therapy Club reworking. A cool, laidback houser with intense electronic passages and beats, it gives the song a darker vibe that might be a touch Marmite for some (an acquired taste). Although the dubstrumental mix is sublime and really worth the price of admission if you like the deeper, tripper side of house music. Exciting package – hopefully there’s some dubs to follow too.
