The press release claims the group to be heavily influenced by the likes of Daft Punk and Mylo, and whilst many others have staked claims to that fact, few have delivered the goods worthy of a place alongside their heroes. Super Mal more then does so, offering the most simplistic of grooves that is as familiar as it is original with Gallic reference points aplenty, not least thanks to Lifelike’s sterling remix which gives the original a fair old run for its money.
