Manchester’s finest, TCTS launches his label ‘Make Something’ with the so simple and repetitive that it will render you either insanely jealous or just insane ‘Jelly’. A spoken vocal that growls ‘Bring the funk back, take it down, suck it up, pump it’ carries the stripped back arrangement to safety like a fireman through a blazing house. Good stuff. But then you knew that before I even wrote a word.
