Norman Cook makes a triumphant return as The Brighton Port Authority, with the irresistible carnival rhythms & vibes of ‘Toe Jam’, which features the distinctive tones of David Byrne and some cheeky chat from Dizzee Rascal, as they strut their stuff and wave their arms about in amongst the fun fuelled brass riffs and sunshine shenanigans, making it a rum punch party all the way. Paul Harris is up first on the remix front, delivering a fat slab of peak time electro tinged bumper house. Closely followed by The Stanton Warriors riding on slammin’ breaks and knee trembling sub, while cutting up Dizzee’s rhymes. Fellow Brightonians Cagedbaby go into disco rave overdrive, and Micky Slim rounds off proceedings with plenty of bass heavy wobble. Hold on to your hats people, Norman is at it again.
