Damien Roussel aka The Mekanism delivers more finely tuned gems for ever reliable Madhouse imprint who again keep the temperature stoked with this release. Expect energetic, emotionally charged music that ticks all the numbers in terms of rousing hard-hitting and even gospel inspired music on the excellent title track, ‘Sweet Monday’. Conversely, ‘Felicidad’ keeps the tempo hot while feeling deeper with more probing words accompanying the equally pulsating grooves. SEK, then roughs up the beats with brutal percussion to provide a fiery alternative to the original version.
