Norwegian DJ Mikkas and Denmark’s Lars B recently loomed on Get Physical as Djuma Soundsystem and now maintain the high standard which iO Music has set for itself recently. Here they take a cool 80s boogie riff, topping it with minimal tinkles and fluttering synths while a hippo breaks wind below. Then they adopt their Djuma Soundsystem alias for a disco dub treatment before Sven Webber turns in a melodic funky-disco treatment with spacey strings. The Tronik Youth mix goes spikey and minimal with contagious sonic hook-globules splashing it all over. Some great stuff going on in Europe right now.
