Fat Wax is a label run by two of the fastest rising tech house titans in the scene, aka Swiss pair Fat Sushi. They have clocked up many great hits before now but here return to their own label to remix alongside the legend that is DJ Pierre. Providing the original beats is Thomas Roberts with Richard Judge on vocals.
Will I Ever Learn is the lead single and is a sweeping, main room house anthem with big vocals, chilling synths and rubbery drums. It comes in two remixed version, too – namely by Fat Sushi and DJ Pierre, who flip it into a much deeper, richer, more stripped back and heady house cut with spine tingling melodies. A dub version is also provided for those who like to focus on the beats, and a radio edit also makes the cut. As well as that there is another fine original called Leonidas. This one is filled with tumultuous synths and wavy beats, colourful chords and a real sense of late night energy. It is rich house music that will make any dance floor a better place and any DJ set more memorable.
