Tight Pants – STA 001 – (Scream Time Action)

Tight Pants is someone who has many different fingers in many different pies. He releases as Tyson Ballad, designs high-end rotary mixers and is involved with the Voyeurhythm label that here starts a new sister imprint in the form of Scream Time Action. The first release offers a club ready analogue house track and a sofa primed bit of ambient that both do their job perfectly.

Up first is Welcome For Your Coming, which is frazzled and raw and splintered, with rainy melodies resonating from the core of the track. It is the sort of thing that manages to be deep and soulful yet physical and maximal at the same time, and is sure to find favour with a wide and diverse array of jocks as a result. Completely contrary to that is Side Again For Your Love, which is a blissfully organic bit of relaxing, soothing soundscaping with great synths, delicate pads and perfectly lovely vibes from start to finish. As such this is a great way to kick-start a new label and will take you up as well as bringing you down.
