Tim Deluxe returns – and he’s definitely become more macho while he’s been away. This is barely recognisable as the same work of the author of ‘It Just Won’t Do’, as the beats are tougher and the vocal has loads of attitude. This is thanks to Simon Franks of the Audio Bullys and a few well placed ‘whoops’ which work a treat when the beat proper drops. Combined with an atmospheric, darker breakdown this makes for a great single which Radio 1 have already picked up on – and which Rennie Pilgrem transforms into an edgy, funky breaks monster. The little ginger club kid now packs quite a punch!
