It can be difficult to feel genuinely excited with a genre as formulaic as trance, yet some tunes turn up and stand out like the sun in the solar system – usually purely on the strength of the chords and the arrangement. Perfectly thought out ‘Morning Lights’ is such record, a melodic whirlwind that’s sad and euphoric at the same time, like great classical music.
