This is a crowd pleasing monster of a single, with its big robotic vocal (“Detroit, Ibiza, London”) and huge riff that threatens to take the roof off. In Middleton’s main club mix it does get a bit repetitive on headphones, though that’s not a problem on the dancefloor. It’s good to report, then, that one of the remixes by the Soul Avengerz throws the track into a whole new light, dispensing with the main riff while toughening up the rhythm and adding an excellent breakdown for good measure. Friday nights have gained a new anthem.
