Hell Yeah is building a relentless reputation as one of the year’s killer labels. Following the recent Maskio belter, up rears Santos like the monster from the deep with radioactive todger firing a fizzing, ominous Suicide riff accompanied by distant clatters and atmospheric effects. Later Spanish chords and ehthereal riffs, even a splash of electro-clash chording, make for an intriguing brew which becomes something of an epic. Maskio’s mix is more urgent and hypnotic with percussive additives, though still dark and cavernous. Another top notch on its bedpan.
